In Season 1 Episode 4 of our podcast, Two Parents and a Microphone, we discussed Parenting Selfishness. Since our episodes are completely unscripted, we lightheartedly found out that parenting was like a huge magnifying glass revealing more of our selfishness than our kids. We wanted to get this free resource into the hands of families around the world to encourage you to do your own self-reflection without judgment or shame. We are all selfish. We may as well own it.
In Season 1 Episode 8 of our podcast, Two Parents and a Microphone, we had "The Sex Talk". Since our episodes are completely unscripted, we shared our raw real-life experiences with complete openness and honesty on how we have handled these discussions with our children . We believe that children are better equipped than innocent. As parents and guardians, we get the privilege to do that. We believe this free resource will help you in the task.
Because of the "Sex Talk" in Season 1 Episode 8 of our podcast, Two Parents and a Microphone, we created a resource for parents who may be in the middle of discovering that their child has been exposed to pornography, has an active addiction, or a parent who just wants to get ahead of the epidemic and start having conversations now. The resource is "Parenting Porn, What Now?" With that resource, we recorded these bonus videos as a companion to the study. There are six videos. Each introduces the week's lesson and highlights the main point.
Sun, Moon, Stars, and You is a special book for us. It was written by our very own Shante Kiefer. The book was created as a message for children (and the adults sharing the story with them) that everyone everywhere is special in their own unique way. It reminds us that we should not hide our shine just because another shines, and we should not change ourselves to be someone else. Each of us was created for a special time and place. So let us shine and encourage others to shine as well. In doing so, our world only gets better.
