We are Chris and Shante Kiefer. We are parents and co-hosts of the Two Parents and a Microphone podcast. While parenting has been our most challenging, most important, and most rewarding gig, we also have 40-plus years of combined experience serving and working in various roles in youth and family service organizations. We live with a focus and dedication to the next generation and their families.

We talk . . . A LOT. It's a blast, and we'd do it even if no one ever listened, but we hope that we offer something of value to parents, families, and influencers of the next generation. That is why we intentionally have open honest conversations that bring about positive impact. 

 

In addition to talking on the podcast, we run Big Circle Training and Development where we do Team Development Camps to promote teamwork, boost morale, and help organizations invest in their people and fulfill their mission. You can find out more under the 'Big Circle' tab.

 

Through our non-profit, The Cooltable Foundation, we resource local mentorships and underserved youth programs to spread a message of value, potential, and purpose. You can find out more about this under the 'Foundation' tab.

 

When working separately, Chris holds a job in the sales industry and Shante writes curricula, books, and resources with our family and youth mission in mind. You can find her work and several FREE downloads under the 'Resources' tab.

We believe that families are the cornerstone of a thriving society and those families depend on healthy parents and next-generation leaders for their support. For those who choose to parent or invest in serving families, it is the most grueling and vital work we know. It requires a supportive community to survive let alone thrive. This is why we choose to speak from a place of authenticity, vulnerability, and compassion in hopes that parents, families, and next-generation influencers will find a safe supportive community among us.
